Retrofit Assessment & Coordination – Regenda Homes
Regenda Homes are a Registered Social Housing Provider with approximately 12,000 homes throughout Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Lancashire. We were appointed by M&Y (Part of The Regenda Group) to complete Retrofit Assessments and Coordination, supporting the delivery of SHDF Wave 1 funded energy efficiency upgrades to 116 dwellings in Fleetwood.

Fleetwood is a coastal town and the properties are situated in a high exposure zone. Due to this the general condition of the properties had deteriorated over time, coupled with additional defects which had manifested as a result of past failed retrofitted cavity wall insulation. The Regenda Group are committed to regenerating Fleetwood and as part of this, a phased approach was proposed to address selected homes, to improve their thermal performance, reduce fuel poverty and improve the aesthetic appeal of the area.

Following our successful completion of the Retrofit Assessments on time and within budget, M&Y extended our appointment further to include Retrofit Coordinator services on the scheme. We ensured all funded improvements works met the requirements of PAS2035, and the scheme was one of the first SHDF Wave 1 projects to complete nationally.
